Side A of this split 7″ belongs to The Jizz Kids who remind me a bit of TSOL and Pariah. They blast through 2 songs in just over 5 minutes. Both songs are good and can be listened to numerous times and liked, but are not memorable. Side B belongs to The Guts, who have more of a Ramones sound to them. Here again the songs are good and listen-able, but not memorable. This 7″ is a good record and I would recommend picking it up, however, don’t expect great songs that you will be singing later in the shower…
