Alien Father was a hard band to classify into one genre. They started off sounding a little like Weezer, then they turned into more Depeche Mode, and then changed even again and had a Sonic Youth type sound. While some bands may struggle with the changes of sounds, Alien Father has found a seamless way to do it. You can head over to their Bandcamp page and listen to the whole album and then you can decide for yourself. While you are there you can check out their earlier works as well. Definitely worth a listen if you have the time.
